All Aboard the Italian Polar Express
The 2025 route gives access to the “most famous Christmas markets in Austria and Germany.”

On screens inside the train, stops along this Christmas trail slowly fade in and out: Roma, Verona, Trento, Bolzano, Bressanone, Vipiteno, Brennero, Innsbruck, Kufstein, Munich. Meet the Women Designers Behind Colombia's Artisanal Apparel
Juan de Dios is a celebration of Colombian heritage, by women, for women.
Hidden among the mangroves of Colombia is Playa de Juan de Dios. Accessible by boat three hours beyond the city of Cali, the beach is something straight out of "The Blue Lagoon." Surrounded by swaying palm trees and lush green jungle, the shores of Juan de Dios synonymize seclusion. When your boat arrives at Juan de Dios, you splash into a world where the rest of society fades into a distant memory. There is only you, the palm trees, and the singsong of the waves.
It is from this exotic oasis that Maria Fernanda Valencia and Isabella Gutierrez sourced inspiration.
Together, the two women spearhead Juan de Dios, the circular lifestyle brand with women's resortwear that can be worn any day on the calendar. Valencia is the founder and creative director, while Gutierrez directs sales and finance for a brand that honors the craftsmanship of Latin America and the beauty of its natural wonders. As designers, Valencia and her team of women thread each fabric, pattern, and silhouette with the unique heritage of Colombia's creative minds. The clothing is more than fashion; it expresses Colombia's ethical approach to textiles.

The Return of Palm House, A Luxury Hotel
For 17 years, Palm House was a pink, abandoned structure ignored by the denizens of Palm Beach. The island hotel is just a block from the beach but was overlooked by developers and tourists alike.
Until now.
Enter L+R Hotel Group, the London-based investment firm that cultivates the world’s finest resorts and five-star hotels. The Jewels of Ferragosto Summer
In Italy, August is not just a month—it is a mood. While Ferragosto was celebrated on August 15, the holiday extends beyond a single day. For Italians, the end of summer is a time when life slows to the rhythm of la dolce vita. Storefronts and even restaurants post sign windows that read “chiuso per ferie” (closed for holidays). Entire cities exhale as locals escape to Capri or Puglia, the Dolomiti, or Tuscany’s quiet hill towns.
The Ferragosto season is a palette of golden sunlight, turquoise seas, and coral sunsets—colors that shimmer through August and into September. It is a season of leisure, effortless elegance, and making every day feel like vacation.
This year, 77 Diamonds has captured that spirit with bold, radiant jewelry designed to dazzle alongside Italy’s summer backdrop.

Benedicta Jewelry Honors Catholicism in Time for the New Pope
Benedicta Jewelry is a line of timeless fine and demi-fine jewelry. Co-founders Katie Badr and Kate Geary started Benedicta Jewelry to create beautiful, timeless jewelry with inherent meaning. Each design reflects Badr and Geary’s shared fascination with the lives of Catholic saints and the rich artistic traditions that thrive in the Catholic Church itself, from architecture to Renaissance art to holy vestments.
Each piece is inspired by a particular saint. Badr and Geary’s design process reflects a historian’s journey; they read the saint’s writings, soak in his or her traditional iconography, and then craft something new and beautiful to honor that life. The result is a collection of unique pieces that can be worn alone or layered together. A wide range of saints and iconography are represented, from Saint Augustine’s flaming heart to the sea-and-star design of Stella Maris.

Discover San Domenico Palace, Taormina
Perched high above the Ionian Sea, where lemon groves cling to stone and the scent of jasmine drifts through ancient arches, San Domenico Palace is a hymn to Sicily’s timeless seduction. Once a 14th-century Dominican convent, today it stands reborn under the artistry of the Four Seasons; its cloisters alive with light, its corridors echoing not with prayer but with quiet wonder.
From the terrace, the world falls away: Taormina’s medieval rooftops shimmer below, the Greek Theatre crests the hilltop, and Mount Etna breathes on the horizon. The palace seems to hover between sky and sea, its gardens cascading toward the blue with sculpted cypress and bougainvillea in bloom.
Inside, the past remains intact—vaulted ceilings, frescoed walls, the rhythm of footsteps on marble—yet every space hums with modern ease. Rooms are filled with the whisper of linen and the glow of Sicilian ceramics; each window frames a view that feels painted for one’s private keeping.
